SORINA GAJEWSKI

Sorina Gajewski (*1994) is a freelance writer, director and photographer based in Berlin. Her first short film won 1st prize at the Bundesfestival Junger Film in 2014. She studied film and photography at "CIEVYC'' film school in Buenos Aires (2015- 2018), and since 2018 she has pursued directing studies at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB). In 2022, she and Milena Krmek received funding from the Federal Ministry of Culture and Media for their documentary "First Taste" (Germany/Guinea). Her latest short film is represented by the German Short Film Association and was screened at various festivals, such as Achtung Berlin and the 44th Moscow IFF.

A young conventional doctor experiences an existential crisis while visiting her father at a radical, esoteric resort in Andalusia, which teaches men how to cry.
