Heather O’sullivan

HEATHER O’SULLIVAN is an actor and writer from Dublin. Her co-written short film “Trasna Na Líne,” premiered at Dublin International Film Festival 2025, and won Best Short Film. It is nominated for Best Short at the Royal Television Society Awards and the Celtic Media Festival 2026. Her follow up project, Newtown Boys just premiered at DIFF 2026. Heather was a member of the Galpal Collectives Writers Club 2024 and part of X-Pollinator as a writer and actor. Most recently, she won the Taking Flight Rising Talent Award at the Kerry International Film Festival for her role in “Heartsick” by MK Quane.

MISSES (TV series)
Set in Ireland 1968, trailblazing Doctor Nora Troy, her queer sister Jose, controversial radio star Dot and conservative agony aunt, Bridget, come together to defy church, state and social convention, heralding in the National Gay Alliance and Irish Women’s Liberation movements.
