Faith Elizabeth

UK-based writer-director FAITH ELIZABETH creates emotionally driven, female-centered genre stories shaped by grief, love and transformation. Drawn to complex, often unsettling emotional worlds, her work explores what it means to survive pain and who we become in order to survive it. Following her award-winning short “My Baby Cries,” and with “Granny DJ” now entering the festival circuit, she is developing her debut feature THE TRABOCCHI TAILS: ASRAI – a dark, mythic mermaid tale. Faith also founded Yes She Cannes, where she creates opportunities, visibility and support for women in film attending the Cannes Film Festival.

THE TRABOCCHI TAILS: ASRAI (feature film)
Crippled by a mysterious illness, Asrai travels to a remote Italian village in search of a cure, only to uncover a cult that hunts and sacrifices mermaids – a ritual that binds her fate to theirs.
