Enrica Perez

Enrica Perez studied Communications Sciences at the University of Lima and holds an M.F.A. in Film from Columbia University in New York. Her short film TAXISTA, screened at festivals around the world and won several awards. As a director, she has been recognized with the Adrienne Shelly Award for Best Female Director and the Someone to Watch Award granted by CineWomen NY, among others. In 2009, she founded Sexto Sentido Producciones, the film company with which she made her debut feature, CLIMAS, premiered at the Warsaw International Film Festival. The film was released in Peru in 2015, receiving the best reviews from the audience and press. Enrica is currently developing her second feature film, SOBRE EL ACANTILADO, a project awarded with a development fund from the Peruvian Ministry of Culture (2018) and the CNC development support grant of the Biarritz Amérique Latine Film Festival (2021).
