Karolina Klapkowska

Karolina Kłapkowska graduated from the University of Silesia, Faculty of Radio and Television, in the field of Cinematography. She is currently a second-year Ph.D. student at the Doctoral School of the Institute of Film and Theatre Arts of the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School of the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. Karolina is the author of feature short films, music videos and documentary films. Her work was presented at film festivals such as: International Film Festival in Cottbus, Germany; Festival Tous Courts in Aix-en-Provence, France; Camerimage International Film Festival in Bydgoszcz, Poland; Festival of Polish Feature Films in Gdynia. People are her first inspiration, then a particular location or space, and light.

LET IT BURN (feature film)
A 19-year-old enthusiast of brutal films and her boyfriend commit an irrational act of crime. Confrontation with death and unexpected events complicate the carefully prepared escape plan.
